Led government advocacy efforts to secure increased funding for nutrition initiatives, leveraging strategic partnerships with the private sector to enhance nutritional outcomes. This multifaceted role involved developing and implementing comprehensive advocacy strategies, engaging with policymakers and industry leaders, and driving collaborative initiatives to address nutritional challenges at both national and regional levels.

Advocacy for Increased Public and Private Investment in Improved Nutrition.

Led collaborative industry-regulator efforts to combat antibiotic manufacturing pollution, advancing pharmaceutical sustainability through innovation and collective action. Represented Centrient Pharmaceuticals in key industry associations like the AMR Industry Alliance, Pharmaceutical Supply Chain Initiative, and Medicines for Europe. Co-developed RAMP partnership to reduce antibiotic manufacturing pollution, fostering collaboration among companies, governments, and civil society.

Advocacy for Industry Action Against Antimicrobial Resistance (AMR).

Developed a comprehensive strategy and campaign aimed at advocating for the enhancement of access to medicines and manufacturing capabilities in Europe, with a focus on bolstering support for local production of essential medicines such as antibiotics. This multifaceted initiative included organizing and hosting high-profile visits, roundtable discussions, and other engagement activities to garner support from national and European stakeholders and decision-makers.

Advocacy for Improved Resilience of Medicines Manufacturing in Europe.

Conducted a comprehensive analysis of country policies aimed at combating malnutrition, encompassing both obesity and undernutrition, to provide valuable insights for informing national policy in Zambia. This endeavor was undertaken in collaboration with the UN World Food Program Zambia country office and included presenting findings to national policymakers.
